You can call it voiceover, voicing, voice overs, voice-talking or any of the many other variations of the word "voice", but serious followers of this vocation tend to call it VOICE ACTING....Acting.

That's why wise and successful practitioners seek and recommend acting lessons on a regular basis to be better.  Improv. Theatre. Singing.  All that, and whatever else you can find to hone your thespian skills.
