ABOUT ALEX TAYLOR
Alex Taylor will forever be the youngest acting teacher to have worked under Legendary Acting teacher Sanford Meisner.

This is an extreme advantage to the next generation of actors because they are taught the traditional Meisner technique combined with the pace and youth of today.

Alex Taylor was in the last class before Meisner's death in 1997. He has been immersed in Meisner Technique for over a decade. He was invited to begin the teacher training in 1998 and is one of only 3 teachers in the past 25 years to be chosen and trained to teach the Meisner Technique authentically.

He has performed in over 60 theatrical productions. As a result of his stage work, Edward James Olmos invited him to participate in Marlon Brando's Lying for a Living where he worked with Marlon Brando, Sean Penn, Peter Coyote, Whoopi Goldberg, and Robin Williams

He currently lives in Studio City California with his wife and daughter.

The Sanford Meisner Studio is the only school that is authorized and approved to teach at Sanford Meisnser's home on the island of Bequia.
